Are you authorized to make patches using Scouting America marks?
Yes. Summit Emblem is a Scouting America licensed vendor. Designs using protected marks must follow the applicable review and approval requirements before production.
How many custom Scout patches do I need to order?
The minimum varies by construction, dimensions, and production method. Many custom manufactured projects begin around 100 pieces, but we confirm the correct minimum after reviewing the design and intended use.
Should my design be embroidered or woven?
Embroidered patches provide classic raised texture; woven patches offer a smoother surface and finer detail. Letter size, linework, dimensions, budget, and the desired feel determine the better choice.
Can you work from a patch contest sketch or an old emblem?
Yes. A hand sketch, photograph, prior patch, logo, or written theme is enough to start. We can rebuild and refine the artwork, then provide a production proof for approval.
Can a rush date be guaranteed?
Rush feasibility depends on the design, licensing review, construction, current capacity, shipping destination, and how quickly the proof is approved. Share the need-by date at the beginning so we can confirm what is realistic.
