What does it mean to use a Scouting America licensed vendor?
A licensed vendor is authorized to produce approved merchandise using protected Scouting America marks. Designs that include those marks must follow the applicable review and approval requirements before production.
Who can request a Scouting project from Summit Emblem?
We work with units, lodges, councils, camps, contingents, event committees, volunteers, and other authorized Scouting customers. If you are unsure who should approve the project within your organization, tell us how it will be used and we can help identify the questions to resolve.
Does every design need licensing review?
The review path depends on the marks, wording, artwork, and intended product. We evaluate the concept and explain what must be confirmed; protected marks do not move into production until the appropriate approval is complete.
What should I send with a Scouting quote request?
Include the organization or event, product type, approximate quantity and size, need-by date, intended use, and any sketch, logo, prior design, or reference image. Estimates are welcome.
Can Summit Emblem produce more than Scout patches?
Yes. Scouting projects may also include pins, challenge coins, neckerchiefs, medals, hiking staff medallions, keychains, apparel-related pieces, and other custom insignia. There are no minimum purchase requirements; availability and pricing are confirmed by product and quantity.
